First Aid Responder

On Completion Of The First Aid Responder Course You Will Be:

  • Able to understand the role of the occupational first aider.
  • Able to provide treatment for the purpose of preserving life or minimising the consequences of injury until discharge or the arrival of medical assistance.
  • Able to provide treatment in the workplace for an injury which does not require the attention of a medical practitioner or nurse.
  • Capable of coordinating first aid arrangements in the workplace.
  • Familiar with health and safety legislation on first aid provision in the workplace

  • On site tuition by PHECC accredited FAR Instructor.
  • FAR Booklet specifically created for the modules covered in the course.
  • Examination by certified PHECC examiner
  • PHECC Certification valid for two years.
